The Institute

The Floricanto Institute was created in 2000, over 24 years ago, as a means to continue Floricanto’s Mission statement of educating our youth and being a community resource.

We believe that the disciplines of dance and music can be transferred to many other areas of life . We teach responsibility, respect, and a deep love for the Mexican culture. 

As such, the Floricanto Institute, has proudly taught folklorico to well over 1500 children in the greater Los Angeles area.

We continue to provide this service to our community at our new home at The Casa del Mexicano. And we look forward to another 20 years of service!
