Navidad en Whittier celebrates the traditional music and dance styles from Mexico through the memories of an "abuelita" (grandmother) who wants to ensure these traditions are passed on to her children. The selections range from the older dance forms of folklorico to newer contemporary ways of celebrating the holidays such as the tradition of "La Rama" from Veracaruz, Mexico.

This joyful production is the perfect family choice for celebrating our community's Mexican heritage during the holidays while exploring the beauty of the Mexican traditions without leaving home. Make this your own tradition for the Holidays.

Repertory consists of 5 different regions of Mexico (regions vary depending on current company repertory) the traditional singing of Posadas and the breaking of the Piñata.
